Spoof / Parody / WTF Music Videos
So KM doesn't get mad at me (well, any more mad than he already is after I posted "Popstar"), post your video spoofs and parodies here.
The first is for Sarge.
I Will Derive

Lyrics:
At first I was afraid, what could the answer be?
It said given this position find velocity.
So I tried to work it out, but I knew that I was wrong.
I struggled; I cried, "A problem shouldn't take this long!"
I tried to think, control my nerve.
It's evident that speed's tangential to that time-position curve.
This problem would be mine if I just knew that tangent line.
But what to do? Show me a sign!
So I thought back to Calculus.
Way back to Newton and to Leibniz,
And to problems just like this.
And just like that when I had given up all hope,
I said nope, there's just one way to find that slope.
And so now I, I will derive.
Find the derivative of x position with respect to time.
It's as easy as can be, just have to take dx/dt.
I will derive, I will derive. Hey, hey!
And then I went ahead to the second part.
But as I looked at it I wasn't sure quite how to start.
It was asking for the time at which velocity
Was at a maximum, and I was thinking "Woe is me."
But then I thought, this much I know.
I've gotta find acceleration, set it equal to zero.
Now if I only knew what the function was for a.
I guess I'm gonna have to solve for it someway.
So I thought back to Calculus.
Way back to Newton and to Leibniz,
And to problems just like this.
And just like that when I had given up all hope,
I said nope, there's just one way to find that slope.
And so now I, I will derive.
Find the derivative of velocity with respect to time.
It's as easy as can be, just have to take dv/dt.
I will derive, I will derive.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level, and then beat you with experience.

One of your weddings DA? (well, not YOUR wedding, but one you shot pics at)(Or I guess it COULD be your wedding, I don't know what you look like)
But if it is you, then you dance well.

It's not me but it was well done...good first dance and second dance and third dance and forth dance...would have had some fun shooting that one...that was probably one of the better done dances I've seen...still not as good as the professional ballroom dancers who I had the enjoyment of photographing their wedding...it's amazing how hard it is to photograph ball room dancing...just the movement across the floor let alone the spinning makes it hard to keep up with them in the lens.Labbie wrote:One of your weddings DA? Been trying to decide where to put this, it's kinda news, kinda funny, kinda musical; I decided not to trash anyone else's threads and put it here, although it does not really fit the thread title.
In 2006 Matt Harding, an Australian, filmed himself dancing a silly jig at various exotic locales around the world. Harding’s back with this new video featuring a cast of thousands. YouTube. (Clicking through to YouTube will allow you to watch the video in “high quality.”)
(love the bit from the Demilitarized Zone, Korea)

Assuming the video is real and he went to all those places I think he should be applauded for what he did.
I mean it looks like he brought people together at these places to participate and have fun. Especially the kids seem to enjoy getting filmed.
So while funny it also shows what we can do if we chose to get along.
(Though the DMZ was fun. Can only imagine what was going through the guard/soldier's mind at the time)...

I've got no reason to doubt that he did this as stated. Here's his website: http://www.wherethehellismatt.com
I think it is a wonderful thing that he did too.

If you can't find a place for it, then this is the place for it.
Uhh...yeah, I think that made sense.
[EDIT] I changed the thread title [/EDIT]
