Hey. I'm at an university where the IT faculty just put in a room full of Core 2 Duo PCs. Imagine if I could 'borrow' their CPUs for 24 hours or more.

Then I would blow you all out of the water. But then it wouldn't be fair would it?

Don't worry. I don't have the time to get Boinc on them all, get the opp app on and setup etc. I have all this 'real' work to do.

So you only have to compete against what I currently have...

Yep. I got an email that the " BOINC Wide " version of Calm Chaos has been set up. So as soon as you want to connect to the project...we're there. :-)
I just attached to orbit They aren't up yet though. I got a message that said "Scheduler request succeeded: got 0 new tasks".

Yep. I got the same message. But I am ready for it when it starts.

Found a new (I think) project, Genetic Life. Still in the alpha testing stage. No work at the moment but will have in a couple of days after a server change.

Didn't find the team there cuz the Boinc Wide system didn't put us there....but with the problems with Virtual Prairie, I went ahead and created the team without waiting for the system to set it up for me.

Anyway....we're there now. :-)

yes i see that km i have work for it running @17mins per wu payment for that is 16.5 credits

but server is down @ moment but i remember it is in beta stage so hanging in there.a lott of teams have attached to it and non member teams,a good turnout there

I need to get some older projects updated to retired and try to find the new projects and add them. So if you know of new BOINC projects or even some that are missing from our lists. Let me know. I have a small list of clean up to do, but I am sure there is more. lol

COVID.SI is a citizen science project to fight against SARS-CoV-2 by distributed computing. SiDock@home is a BOINC-based extension of the project COVID.SI to engage the BOINC community into the drug search.

You can help with your computer. With the help of BOINC, you will download a subset of compounds on your computer, examine the compounds in the context of the studied target and send the results to a server where they are collected for later analysis.

For account creation please use a Crunch_4Science invitation code. It is not needed when registering by BOINC Manager.
