I only watched Fox news one time and that was enough for me, Just my luck I tuned in during the bash Canada segment. CNN at least covers things a bit better and offer a wider range of news topics. Generally I stick to CBC news, CTV seems to just repeat every thing every 15 minutes and offers very little on anything south of the border unless it's a major scandle of some kind.

Hey yeababy,

There was some intrest of what favorite new outlet people subscribe to.
I'm not much into general news as it is such a downer so yahoo pretty much is enough for me and if I want more information there is always google. I like to follow tech news more than general news but sometimes we need to know the bad stuff.

Most definitely Jeremy. We have a little more freedom here than we do on the SETI forums.

Dudes, I am so sore.. It was for a fun cause but since my wife was the team leader repesenting Morgan Stanley, I had to work harder than the other guy's..

That wasn't so bad but the other guy's range in age from 23 to 31. Sucks getting old sometimes.

Glad I am not alone out there. How are you doing KM/ We haven't spoken much these days. Iguess youve been busy with the site and me with work. This site is great though, no more issues like I use to have on the Seti side.

Actually, I have been busy at work as well. Working the graveyard shift isn't very conducive to being able to chat with people...lol

I am trying to get things together for the site, but things are going rather slowly right now. Also waiting to be contacted about the interview I will be doing in one of the local newspapapers about Seti@home and Calm Chaos. I want to make sure I can be clear about what it is and what we do.

I have a tendancy to ramble a bit....especially when I am nervous....lol

KM, if what you told me the other day is true, you're barely outside the range Brian mentioned.

And what's going on with your team? I thought they were going great guns this year.

I know, it's still early, but I just wan't one little jab.

Meh. Depends on your point of view. lol

Trust me, my body feels a whole lot older than my years. It's what I get for doing a whole lot of crappy jobs that involved heavy labor when I was younger.

If you could retrain in another profession what would you like to do?

Something involved in radio. DJ most likely. Always wanted to do that.

Don't even think about it much. There are so many law abiding non-caucasian races here can't tell the difference between them.

We got Sheriff Joe Arpaio, the man that would be King so to speak, he has made it is personal war.

I've heard that about him. Actually, the only problem I have with illegals is that I came to this country leagally and so did my wife. I mostly lean the democrat way but not on all things. I guess you would call me, vote for anybody but the numbnut we got now..

I had been living in Europe, Africa, and Brazil the last 7 years and decided to give the states a try again. I knew they were desperate for aircraft engineers and I have worked on defense department type projects in the past. Philly is as good a place as any, plus this was my wifes first time to the states and since we fly back to Kenya once in a while, seemed like a good choice.
Are from Arizona originally?

No, I'm from Topeka, Kansas but have been in AZ now for more of my life than I was in Kansas. This is home now but wouldn't mind moving to a place with some trees for a change.

That's cute. Kansas come to think of it doesn't have much. We used to say don't like the weather wait 10 minutes....
Didn't ever think that was true though.

It's a Kansas thing, I've been through Wichita several times and never stopped. Kinda dark and now kinda unfriendly with all the gang activity.

I have heard the same. Dark isn't so bad, as long as its outside the US. Totally different in Africa, kids look at school as a privelage over there. My wife at first couldn't understand all the black people here in Philly doing nothing. She flipped when she found out public education is free in this country and yet 47 percent of blacks never graduate high school..

It's migrating to all sects of society now and I think it has to do with economics mostly, the rich are really rich and the poor are really poor.

Right now I observe and report cardiac dysrhythmias to the nursing staff.

I've been an RN but couldn't handle it in the end for various reasons but am still using my critical thinking on the job now. I am the supervior of the department and have nine people under me.
