make sure you turn up the speakers to hear it...it's a richly done piece of music.

If you like "A Perfect Circle" or "Tool" you should like Puscifer too.

It sounds good. I mean the song is nice and has a well produced sound. Like radio quality.

Just discovered this band while listening to Electric Wizard on youtube. It's Drone Doom. I read the Earth singer hung out with Kurt Cobain.

Didn't even know they had a new one coming out....lol

I'll check it out thought. Megadeth has managed to avoid the " Lose Your balls " syndrome that so may bands that have been around for a lot of years seem to fall victim to.

I didn't know about a new album either. I'd like if they made it old school like Peace Sells or So Far. It's hard to top something like this.

The last album I got was Countdown to Extinction back when it came out. It's more clean and technical. A change from the old thrash sound though.

Basically everything after that stayed away from that sound too.

Dave eveolved the band in a good way, though.

Once again,i couldnt agree more with you,KM..Dave evolved the band in a great way whatever ppl might say,he's always been a stickler for details and has a complete take no prisoners attitude when it comes to performing within the band which is perhaps the reason why they're still playing good metal music.Credit also goes to the new guys Shawn Drover and Chris Broderick for allowing Megadeth to retain the spunk..By the way,you should check out one of the singles "Headchrusher",it's definitely worth a listen and available for download :) Happy Listening

I'm kinda stuck in the 80s when it comes to hard rock and thrash bands I listened to back then. I usually judge by the first albums they came out with. I will say, Megadeth evolved better than Metallica did. After and Justice for All they REALLY changed.

According to Tom Araya, their upcoming album would be the last on their contract and he goes on to say he's not sure about what's gonna happen after..Is this the beginning of end of Slayer :(

Here you go.

If it's the last album and Tom Araya isn't sure then it's probably the end.

Well..keep in mind that Megadeth did have the album Risk.

But then again, Dave titled the album Risk because he KNEW that the fans were either going to accept it for what he was doing at the time, or completely hate it.

And after Risk....he went right back to heavier stuff.

Thanks a ton for pointing me in the right direction,A/C,for the life of me i couldnt find it.Anyway, from what i read Dave did the whole Risk thing as a reply to Ulrich who always took jibes at him for not taking enough risks with his music, hence the title. It's good that common sense prevailed though and Dave quickly remembered what they do best.As for Slayer,it does look like the end after this one.No more Slayer :(
