Did you post it somewhere?
"Antim Sanskaar"?
I can't hear it. Buga, I'm back to this error message any time I try to listen to something people upload here: "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."

I used to have trouble with listening to anything in that section with my old laptop. I don't recall ever finding a codec to download. If I remember correctly, I started being able to listen due to a fix Buga took care of. Now, with this new laptop, I am back to the same old problem. I've tried listening to various things in there 5-10 times perhaps, working with the new laptop, with no success.

Perhaps you could e-mail me an mp3?

In the other music thread, I posted a poem/song I wrote about 1.5 years after a car accident I was involved in. (See DA's post above it to understand why I posted it.)

Can you catch the references to other songs within the poem?

The first four lines could be said to be influenced by the following, and if someone said it, they could be right. I might have been re-listening to Frontiers at the time.

This is "The music [that] still play[ed] as [he] slam[ed] into my car," continued as "The world sp[un]" and did not stop until the car came "to a screeching halt."

There's even a reference to this song in there. Can you find it?

Well ... could I hear the main vocalist?
I like the rest. There was a portion before the solo I think you guys might want to explore more and emphasize. To get a sense of what I mean, check out one or both of the following pages:
http://www.myspace.com/christopherleefreeman
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu ... d=50021157
BTW, the video I had you check out a few days ago featured my singing. ("Meta-For, You," about 11 posts back.)
Any chance you'd like to try a long distance collaboration so I could put more music to some of my other lyrics?

OK, I am having trouble with my speakers cutting in and out, like Red sometimes experiences. So, here's one or two vids of CHristopher Lee Freeman performing that I know will help get the point across, Exit.

I'm impressed with his Chris Freeman's sound...it's got a eastern flair to what is western music...very eclectic mix of sounds and harmonies.

Funny thing is, I lived in the same town for 7 years. Became aware of his webpages in 2005. Never saw him play. Even though he's played coffee shops, I guess they were in other towns.

Hey Sarge, loved the vids..all of 'em.Chris Freeman does sound excellent. As for our sound, cant say much,we love to experiment a lot but making sure we stick to our roots of creating good, heavy music. As for any collaboration,i think that'd be a fantastic idea :) Would love to hear some of your stuff. You really need to get down to putting music to those lyrics already..hehe. By the way, could you post the Meta for you video once again please?I'm uploading another song from our band,we got a pretty lookin' lady to collaborate with us on this one and you'll agree she's got a good voice too..hehe.As for our real singer, imma post a song with the original lineup soon..Hope ya like this one :)

Original mix of "Meta-For, You":

My re-mix of it:

I am probably going to try one more re-mix of it. To me, it still sounds muddy and has little left-right channel distinction/separation.

I'll contact you soon on collaborations.

Eddie sounds even better on bass than on the studio recording. I wish he'd done it this way when I saw them 2-3 months later.

Damn, that's good hard rock. Underrated band.

And no I didn't know it was the year of the rat in China.

Actually, they probably got more respect than deserved, considering Pearcy.

I thought to myself, is the cycle every 12 years? If so, 1984 (release of the album's year) + 2*12 = 2008 would make it the Year of the Ratt again. I checked and it is.

I wasn't going quite that far. I think, for his style, he had his moments. But, listening to most of the live stuff from the past 2 years that's getting posted on youtube, he does usually sound terrible and it makes me wonder about how he ever managed to sound decent back then.
