Yadda yadda yadda, garble nozzle znwarf, it's hard to mumble sing with all these marbles in my mouth.

Yeah, that's 90's for us.

This is what Seattle grunge could have been more like, if Andy Wood had not overdosed on heroine, leaving us with Eddie Vedder to come along.
That's an awesome song. The band I didn't know much of back then. I'll say, I'm not that knowledgeable about the Seatle grunge scene. When grunge started playing all over tv and radio I realized how distinct from other rock the sound was. I even bought Nirvana's Nevermind tape. The one song I didn't listen to much was you know which one.

How about Alice in Chains? Embed disabled on that too. People are just deciding to disable embedding I guess.

The one I posted allows embedding. It's apparently something about this thread ... a change to our settings here.

I didn't hear the MLB song until 95 or 96.
Grunge wiped away the bad, but a lot of the good as well. Metallica got to get increased attention, but at what price?
What song did you not listen to? I never bought anything by Nirvana. I think I only really liked "Come As You Are" (Kurt: nah, I don't have a gun - yeah, right!) and maybe "Heart Shaped Box."

Oh, and AIC rules over Nirvana.
More visceral and Layne was a lot more honest and upfront about his demons.
Check out Layne Staley of AIC and Mike McCready of Pearl Jam in the supergroup "Mad Season."

The song was Smells Like Teen Spirit. I got tired of hearing it over and over on MTV.

I didn't listen to the grunge bands until the early 90s. The real Metallica died after And Justice For All.

edit: I'll check out Mad Season tnx. :smt002

That song, or one very like it, sounds familiar to me. Maybe from an 80s movie. Good one.

Oops, nevermind, nothing to see here.

I need help finding a dance song from the 80s. It's been in my head for a long time but I have no idea who made it. I found a song that has a mix with a synthesizer that sounds very similar to the one in the song I'm looking for. It's from 0:17 to 0:35 in this song.

I read a comment there about 808 State but after searching a bunch of their songs I didn't find it. Helpy?

Wow. It sounds familiar, but I have no clue right at this point.

It may strike me at some point, and if it does, I'll let ya know.

Thanks Knightmare. I'm trying to put together a list of 80' hits for a custom playlist. The hard part will be finding the actual CDs, or DLs.

Thanks. I can see how you came up with those. None of them are the one though. I think it's closer to the Kommissar track in terms of style.

Now Smerphies with rap sounds really REALLY old school lol :smt003
