This is the place to post any lyrics that you think we should see. Please do your best to credit the artist involved when posting lyrics.

It'll help all of us if the artist is listed with the lyrics. If we like the lyrics, we can find the songs. :-)

Anything that moves you...makes you laugh....makes you cry....anything that speaks to you ( musically )...if it has lyrics...post 'em. :smt023

First up for me...

I saw this guy live at The Machine Shop in Flint Mi a couple of months ago. It was the night before my birthday, and I figured there was no better way to celebrate than by going to see one of the bands that I really like at my favorite club.

The show was incredible, but after the show was even better. When Wednesday came out to sign autographs, he made his rounds, which didn't take long cuz the crowd wasn't very big, and then I walked up to him to get a shirt autographed ( I bought a Machine Shop shirt specifically to get band autographs ) and I told him that it was my birthday and that I had come out to see him play to celebrate. He wound up coming over to the table where my brother and I were sitting and just sat there talking to us for around 45 minutes. He is a really cool guy, and although his lyrics may indicate otherwise, he is very normal...lol

I just had to make a song from him my first post.

Artist: Wednesday 13
Song: My Home Sweet Homicide
Album: Fang Bang

i've got nothing to lose that's why i'm with you
my x-ray glasses don't lie
and the best thing about our future
is knowing that i'm gonna die

it's a simple mistake that anyone could make
and i guess i won the grand prize
a lifetime supply of misery
my home sweet homicide

and i'm so love sick, sick of you
i guess i'll see you in hell
but i'm sure you'd ruin that too

you'll be the death of me
baby you're my home sweet homicide

you're the reason why i never tried
you're the biggest star in your own mind
no anti-dote, it's a fucking joke
and i'll never get out alive

now on the count of three
won't you bury me
close the casket and say goodbye
and its ashes to ashes, dust to dust
my home sweet homicide

and i'm so love sick, sick of you
i guess i'll see you in hell
but i'm sure you'd ruin that too

you'll be the death of me
baby you're my home sweet homicide

and i'm so love sick, sick of you
i guess i'll see you in hell
but i'm sure you'd ruin that too

you'll be the death of me
baby you're my home sweet homicide

Sky

Post by Knightmare » Fri Dec 15, 2006 2:26 am

Artist : Ra

Writer : Sahaj

I painted a picture, of a day gone past
An ancient scripture, a house of glass
People looking through the window
Never knowing what they'd find
When they couldn't see me
I locked the door, left them behind
The sky will tell me... I'm not the only one
And the sky will tell me... I must believe the sun

I shut my eyes, to not go blind
Things I can't see, I see in my mind
Oh now the passing clouds of rain
Have surely passed us by
Poor is the man
That believes his own lie

And the sky will tell me
I'm not the only one
And the sky will tell me
I must believe the sun
And the sky will tell me
Long may you run
And the sky will tell me
I must believe the sun
(Yeah)

If I was wrong judge... me by name
I simplify... one and the same

And the sky will tell me
(and the sky will tell me)
I'm not the only one
(I'm not the only one)
And the sky will tell me
(and the sky will tell me)
I must believe the sun
(I must believe the sun)
And the sky will tell me
(and the sky will tell me)
Long may you run
(long may you run)
And the sky will tell me
(and the sky will tell me)
I must believe... (I must believe) the sun
(Yeah)

I have seen this band 4 times at The Machine Shop. They are an incredible live band. If you get a chance to check 'em out, I highly suggest doing so.

Taking into consideration the discussions going on in the Seti forums.....

Counterfeit God
Artist(Band):Zakk Wylde & Black Label Society

Can't you see I feel your pain?
I've got Jesus running through my veins
In this hopeless life that's turned on you
Give yourself to me, I'll help you through
I feed off your unanswered fear
When visions of life's end appear
Hand over your will and then you'll see
Now get on your knees and worship me

[CHORUS]
Worship me
On your knees
Worship me

In this world when at it's best
Of never ending hate and death
Abandon all and trust in me
Escaping from reality
My world it has no space or time
The crippled walk and the sick feel fine
Hand over your will and then you'll see
Now get on your knees and worship me

[Chorus]

Beyond this wall of life unknown
I'll lead you where you need to go
Void of worry, stress and pain
Left with nothing but your name
We've washed your brain and cleansed your soul
Till' nothing's all you need to know
Hand over your will and then you'll see
Now get on your knees and worship me
Looking for the Calm amid all this Chaos[/b]

Here`s one for the global warming freaks. :smt015
Bowie-5 Years

Pushing thru the market square, so many mothers sighing
News had just come over, we had five years left to cry in
News guy wept and told us, earth was really dying
Cried so much his face was wet, then I knew he was not lying
I heard telephones, opera house, favourite melodies
I saw boys, toys electric irons and t.v.s
My brain hurt like a warehouse, it had no room to spare
I had to cram so many things to store everything in there
And all the fat-skinny people, and all the tall-short people
And all the nobody people, and all the somebody people
I never thought Id need so many people

A girl my age went off her head, hit some tiny children
If the black hadnt a-pulled her off, I think she would have killed them
A soldier with a broken arm, fixed his stare to the wheels of a cadillac
A cop knelt and kissed the feet of a priest, and a queer threw up at the sight of that

I think I saw you in an ice-cream parlour, drinking milk shakes cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine, dont think
You knew you were in this song
And it was cold and it rained so I felt like an actor
And I thought of ma and I wanted to get back there
Your face, your race, the way that you talk
I kiss you, youre beautiful, I want you to walk

Weve got five years, stuck on my eyes
Five years, what a surprise
Weve got five years, my brain hurts a lot
Five years, thats all weve got
Weve got five years, what a surprise
Five years, stuck on my eyes
Weve got five years, my brain hurts a lot
Five years, thats all weve got
Weve got five years, stuck on my eyes
Five years, what a surprise
Weve got five years, my brain hurts a lot
Five years, thats all weve got
Weve got five years, what a surprise
Weve got five years, stuck on my eyes
Weve got five years, my brain hurts a lot
Five years, thats all weve got
Five years
Five years
Five years
Five years

Born To Lead

Artist : Hoobastank

With eyes closed tightly,
I march so blindly.
Pretending everything's fine,
'Cause you're there to keep me in line.
I don't want your guidance,
I'll break my silence.
So sick of asking and being denied and now I realise.

We're holding the key, to unlock our destiny,
We were Born To Lead.
We're finally free, no longer following,
We were Born To Lead... we were Born To Lead.

You can't ignore me(you can't ingnore me)
You cant think for me(you can't think for me)
Your world will come crashing down to the ground,
'Cause I figured you out.

We're holding the key, to unlock our destiny,
We were Born To Lead.
We're finally free, no longer following,
We were Born To Lead... we were Born To Lead.

I use to think I'm ALL alone,
But now I see our numbers grow.
I'm not afraid to break away,
Think on my own

With eyes wide open,
My new life begins.
Without you there to tell me, when, where and how,
And you can't stop me now!

We're holding the key, to unlock our destiny,
We were Born To Lead.
We're finally free, no longer following,
We were Born To Lead... we were Born To Lead.

We're holding the key, to unlock our destiny,
We were Born To Lead
We're finally free, no longer following,
We were Born To Lead.

Hmmmm i like the "Counterfeit GOD" try this one

"Comfort Eagle"

Artist: CAKE

We are building a religion
We are building it bigger
We are widening the corridors
And adding more lanes

We are building a religion
A limited edition
We are now accepting callers
for these pendant key chains

To resist it is useless
It is useless to resist it
His cigarette is burning
But he never seems to ash

He is grooming his poodle
He is living comfort eagle
You can meet at his location
But you better come with cash

Now his hat is on backwards
He can show you his tattoos
He is in the music business
He is calling you "DUDE!"

Now today is tomorrow
And tomorrow today
And yesterday is weaving in and out

And the fluffy white lines
That the airplane leaves behind
Are drifting right in front
of the waining of the moon

He is handling the money
He's serving the food
He knows about your party
He is calling you "DUDE!"

Now do you believe
In the one big sign
The doublewide shine
On the bootheels of your prime

Doesn't matter if you're skinny
Doesn't matter if you're fat
You can dress up like a sultan
In your onion head hat

We are building a religion
We are making a brand
We're the only ones to turn to
When your castles turn to sand

Take a bite of this apple
Mr. corporate events
Take a walk through the jungle
Of cardboard shanties and tents

Some people drink Pepsi
Some people drink Coke
The wacky morning DJ
Says democracy's a joke

He says now do you believe
In the one big song
He's now accepting callers
Who would like to sing along

She says, do you believe
In the one true edge
By fastening your safety belts
And stepping towards the ledge

He is handling the money
He is serving the food
He is now accepting callers
He is calling me "DUDE!"

Now do you believe
In the one big sign
The doublewide shine
On the bootheels of your prime

There's no need to ask directions
If you ever lose your mind
We're behind you
We're behind you
And let us please remind you
We can send a car to find you
If you ever lose your way

We are building a religion

We are building it bigger

We are building

A religion

A limited

Edition

We are now accepting callers...
For these beautiful...
Pendant key chains
Belief gets in the way of learning.

Convenience Store Messiah
by Dokken
album: Shadow Life (1997)

I'm walkin' down these dark streets - all alone
a light ahead free coffee if you have no home
a parking lot full of people - same as me
waiting for the Messiah - his shift will start at three

He's a real convenience store messiah
idol worship for an idle mind
he's a real convenience store messiah
turning bottled water into wine

waiting for the papers to come outside
they make such nice warm blankets - get in line
sometimes he might let us - stay inside
the only one who will listen
he can be so kind

He's a real convenience store messiah
idol worship for an idle mind
he's a real convenience store messiah
turning bottled water into wine

(They see through eyes)
looking through his window
(a glowing light)
staring at his vision late at night
(they idolize, they realize)
reaching out their hands

He's a real convenience store messiah
idol worship for an idle mind
he's a real convenience store messiah
turning bottled water into wine

The Clone

Artist : Isle of Q

I read the books that they told me I should read
I spoke the words that hey told me I should speak
I was the person, the person that they told me to be

I went to places they told me I should go
I learned the rules that they told me I should know
I was a model, a model for the status quo

And with all that they programmed into my mind
There's something I'm missing but nothing to find
One after the other the cycle parades
Tomorrow one more clone is made

(Chorus)
Listen and put you ear to the ground
You can't stop the engine if you can't hear the sound
Look up and throw you hands in the air
You can't stop the engine going round

I got the haircut they told me I should get
I can't remember what they said to forget
I'm just a number, another to the government

I went to church where they told me I should pray
I paid the taxes they told me I should pay
I got the family the house and bills and Chevrolet

With all that they programmed into my mind
There's something I'm missing but nothing to find
One after the other the cycle parades
Tomorrow one more clone is made

(Chorus)

They look like you and me
And now we're all the same you see
I go to work each day
And wish my life away

With all that they programmed into my mind
There's something I'm missing but nothing to find
One after the other the cycle parades
Tomorrow one more clone is made

(Chorus)
Looking for the Calm amid all this Chaos[/b]

This song is by one of the best new rock bands

Victim - Eighteen Visions

You can't be saved
You've gone and dug your grave
And its getting deeper by the minute
Well you had to turn your back
Ain't cutting you no slack
Hooked on your lies you had me going

Chorus:
(So give me one)
Good reason i should be forgivin' you when I don't care anyway
(So give me two)
good reasons i should be forgivin' you when I'm the victim today

You threw it all away
Still gettin high today
You'll crash and burn before you know it
Addicted to your lies
Think I've been victimized
Same day same night same situation

Chorus

GO!

And I feel like I'm the victim x2

I feel like I have been criticized (yeah yeah)
By every little thing you say
Now I don't really care cause you're the one thats going down
And now I've left you here for dead

Chorus x2

(So give one)
Good reason I should be forgivin' you
(So give me two)
Good reasons I should be forgivin' you

And I feel like I'm the victim
Looking for the Calm amid all this Chaos[/b]

One of my favorite songs...

In A Darkened Room

Artist : Skid Row

In a darkened room
Beyond the reach of God's faith
Lies the wounded, the shattered
remains of love betrayed
And the innocense of a child is bought
and sold
In the name of the damned
The rage of the angels left silent
and cold

Forgive me please for I know not
what I do
How can I keep inside the hurt
I know is true

Tell me when the kiss of love
becomes a lie
That bears the scar of sin too deep
To hide behind this fear of running
into you
Please let there be light
In a darkened room

All the precious times have been put
to rest again
And the smile of the dawn
Brings tainted lust singing my requiem
Can I face the day when I'm tortured
in my trust
And watch it crystalize
While my salvation crumples to dust

Why can't I steer the ship before
it hits the storm
I've fallen to the sea but still
I swim for shore

Tell me when the kiss of love
becomes a lie
That bears the scar of sin too deep
To hide behind this fear of running
into you
Please let there be light
In a darkened room
Looking for the Calm amid all this Chaos[/b]

Actually...they are still going, but they have a new lead singer named Jonny Salinger.

They are still pretty doggone good even without Sebastian Bach.

I just got their new cd called Revolutions Per Minute...and the other one the released a while ago was called Thickskin. Both of them are with the new guy, and both of them are pretty good disks. :-)

Cool.... when i was living in the U.S. (many years ago) i used to listen to them heaps. Thats where i got a taste for RUSH, Queensryche and a few other great US bands.

I am starting to mellow a bit now i think.... bought an Aqualung CD and received an Anna Nalick album for Xmas LOL..

My taste keeps getting a little heavier in most cases....lol

I stil like the 80's stuff, and I occasionally listen to some classical music, but a lot of the stuff I listen to has to have a good, heavy, crunchy guitar sound to it. :smt023

I guess i'm going for more of a balance these days LOL (what ever that means!)

Hey, is there any way to get around the 5MB upload limit for MP3's (most of mine are above this size)!!! Say 8MB or 10MB per file???

Craig.

Have to ask Buga about that one. He may be limited by space issues. Not sure.

You could re-encode them to a lower rate. Any song that large must be encoded a 256kbps or be a really long song, or both.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level, and then beat you with experience.

That's one of the cool things about Media Player on this version of XP. I am working on taking all of my mp3 files and converting them to 192kbps.

I am finally getting the hang of using this version of Media Player. Took me a bit.

I recently re-ripped my collection at 256Kbps (i did a round about 5 years ago at 128kbps, how things have changed in 5 years!!) SO.....I'm just damn lazy to convert tracks back...thats all... OKAY THEN I WILL DO IT LOL.... i figured in this world of unlimited bandwidth and storage capacity (NOT) it wouldn't be a problem lol....

Come What(ever) May

Artist : Stone Sour

Can you take away every single day?
That we have given to another false prophet
Can you give us all a reason not to fall?
Before you take away another broken promise

Show your pretty face
Hide the bitter taste
You're still the rapist of an entire nation
You wanna be the man you gotta be a man
But you were nothing but a sad insinuation
(Oooooh)
How can we ever live this down?
(Oooooh)
How can we ever live this down?

Keep your fingers crossed
The truth is at a lost
Big decision for an ordinary coward
The only problem is your fucking rhetoric
We're more in danger then before you took power

Now it's just a game
God you'll never change
You'd sell us out if you could only find a buyer
You don't give a shit
As long as idiots
Are in your corner you could set us all on fire
(Oooooh)
How can we ever live this down?
(Oooooh)
How can we ever live this down?

You never wanted to be
They only wanted a parody
You want the world to be free
But what the hell is free about it?!

Now we reached the end
Just get it over with
But this is building to an adament conclusion
Come what ever may
There's gonna be a day
When we have figured out a possible solution

Every thing you've done
Is killing everyone
A little smile on a homicidal bastard
You wanna be a man
You gotta have a plan
Another failure is a guarenteed disaster
(Oooooh)
How can we ever live this down?
(Oooooh)
How can we ever live this down?

You never wanted to be
They only wanted a parody
You want the world to be free
She only wanted the world
You never wanted me
They only wanted a parody
You want the world to be free
But what the f**k is free about it?!
What the f**k is free about it?!
What the f**k is free about it?!

Artist: Sonata Arctica
Song: Over The Hills And Far Away (Nightwish Cover)

They came for him one winter's night.
Arrested, he was bound.
They said there'd been a robbery,
his pistol had been found.

They marched to the station house,
he waited for the dawn.
And as they led him to the dock,
he knew that he'd been wronged.
"You stand accused of robbery,"
he heard the bailiff say.
He knew without an alibi,
tomorrow's light would mourn his freedom.

Over the hills and far away,
for ten long years he'll count the days.
Over the mountains and the seas,
a prisoner's life for him there'll be.

He knew that it would cost him dear,
but yet he dare not say.
Where he had been that fateful night,
a secret it must stay.
He had to fight back tears of rage.
His heart beat like a drum.
For with the wife of his best friend,
he spent his final night of freedom.

Over the hills and far away,
he swears he will return one day.
Far from the mountains and the seas,
back in her arms again he'll be.
Over the hills and far away.

Over the hills and,
over the hills and,
over the hills and far away.

Each night within his prison cell,
he looks out through the bars.
He reads the letters that she wrote.
One day he'll know the taste of freedom.

Over the hills and far away,
she prays he will return one day.
As sure as the rivers reach the seas,
back in his arms again she'll be.

Over the hills and far away,
he swears he will return one day.
Far from the mountains and the seas,
back in her arms again he'll be.

Over the hills and far away,
she prays he will return one day.
As sure as the rivers reach the sea,
back in her arms is where he'll be.

Over the hills,
over the hills and far away.

Over the hills,
over the hills and far away.

Same Direction

Artist : Hoobastank

Whenever I step outside
somebody claims to see the light
it seems to me that all of us
have lost our patience
cause everyone thinks they're right
and nobody thinks that there just might
be more than one road to our final destination

But I'm not ever gonna know
if i'm right or wrong
cause we're all going in the same direction
and I'm not sure which way to go
because all along
we've been going in the same direction

I'm tired of playing games
of looking for someone else to blame
for all the holes in answers that are clearly showing
for something to fill the space
was all of the time I spent a waste
cause so many choices point the same way I was going

But I'm not ever gonna know
if i'm right or wrong
cause we're all going in the same direction
and I'm not sure which way to go
because all along
we've been going in the same direction
going in the same direction
same direction (same direction)

So why does there only have to be
one correct philosophy
I don't want to go and follow you
just to end up like one of them
and why are you always telling me
what you want me to believe
I'd like to think that I can
go my own way and meet you in the end
go my own way and meet you in the end

I'm not ever gonna know
if i'm right or wrong
cause we're all going in the same direction
and I'm not sure which way to go
because all along
we've been going in the same direction
going in the same direction
going in the same direction
same direction (same direction)

Bitch

Artist : Dope

Written by : Edsel Dope

There's something about the way we fit
There's something about this psycho trip
There's something about the way we groove
Something's got me and I just can't seem to choose
I want you
I hate you
The one I love I hate
But the sex is great
The one I love I hate
So I contemplate
The one I love I hate
But the sex is great

There's something about the way we slide
There's something about this psycho ride
There's something about the things we do
Something's got me and I just can't seem to choose

One... Two... F**k you
Never say no
I'm ready to go
We're out of control
But I can't let you go

There's something about the way we fit
There's something about this psycho bitch

The one I love I hate
But the sex is great
The one I love I hate
I could suffocate
The one I love I hate
But the sex is great

I love to hate you
I love to hate you

I have to give mega-props to Sarge II for bringing a very little known Dokken song out of the shadows.

That album is very underrated and misunderstood

Yes, people think it was Lynch's grunge attempt. Who cares? It was good, it was heavy, it was freaking DOKKEN! :)

OK so it's an old classic that everyone knows. But I had to include it cos it's one of my favourites of all time, so here goes.

Stairway To Heaven.

There's a lady who's sure
All that glitters is gold
And she's buying a stairway to heaven
When she gets there she knows
If the stores are all closed
With a word she can get what she came for
And she's buying a stairway to heaven

There's a sign on the wall
But she wants to be sure
'Cause you know sometimes words have two meanings
In a tree by the brook
There's a songbird who sings
Sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven
It makes me wonder

There's a feeling I get
When I look to the west
And my spirit is crying for leaving
In my thoughts I have seen
Rings of smoke through the trees
And the voices of those who stand looking
And it makes me wonder

And it's whispered that soon
If we all call the tune
Then the piper will lead us to reason
And a new day will dawn
For those who stand long
And the forest will echo with laughter

If there's a bustle in your hedgerow
Don't be alarmed now
It's just a spring clean for the May queen
Yes there are two paths you can go by
But in the long run
There's still time to change the road you're on
And it makes me wonder

Your head is humming and it won't go
In case you don't know
The piper's calling you to join him
Dear lady can you hear the wind blow
And did you know
Your stairway lies on the whisperin' wind

And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our souls
There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to show
How everything still turns to gold

And if you listen very hard
The tune will come to you at last
When all are one and one is all
To be a rock and not to roll

And she's buying a stairway to heaven...

One of my fav songs is My Sweetest Pain by the German band Persephone. It's a love song - well, kind of.

My sweetest Pain

Is this how true love should end?
Broken hearts won`t mend
Two hearts, which beated as one
Tell me, what have I done

Am I to blame?
Eternal grief will remain

Another scar across my heart
Which reminds me of your name
And whispers softly
„You are my sweetest pain“

I won`t regret one second with you
No doubt, my feelings were true
All games are played, no sense to stay
I run away, for redemption I pray

I see your face and hear your voice
It`s in my head, my only choice
Stars from above, guide my way
No time to rest, nor time to stay

Who`s to blame?
Trees are whispering your name

Another scar across my heart
Which reminds me of your name
And whispers softly
„You are my sweetest pain“

One single touch, the smell of your hair
One kiss, only memories there
My sheltered treasure they are
My only pleasure, like a single star

The Drowning Theme by the same band as the song above, is also not bad :smt003

Drowning Theme

The moonlight, brighter than ever before
I follow the lights, which I couldn`t ignore
Flames dancing on the surface of the sea
A mysterious force guided me
The lights were calling my name
I step into the water, for my eternal flame

Deeper and deeper, my clothes were wet
The flames still dancing, I couldn`t reach them yet
I lose the ground under my feet
Deeper and deeper, feel my own heartbeat
Water washes my pain away
Abandoned, I followed this sway

My body lies on the bottom of the sea
A shoal of fish getting closer I see
The coral reef, so beautiful
Tears my body open, so cruel

A moray gapes in my dead eyes
In my hair lodges a spider, awaiting my demise
On my heart creeps an eel
The sea has many secrets to reveal
I have one last wish, before I die
You shall find pearls, for each tear I cry

Once was a man who consumed his place and time
He thought nothing could touch him
But here and now it’s a different storyline
Like the straw he is clutching

Why has the sky turned grey
Hard to my face and cold on my shoulder
And why has my life gone astray
Scarred by disgrace, I know that its over

Because I’m falling down
With people standing round
But before I hit the ground
Is there time
Could I find someone out there to help me?

Howl at the wind rushing past my lonely head
Caught inside its own motion
How I wish it was somebody else instead

Howling at all this corrosion

Why did the luck run dry
Laugh in my face, so pleased to desert me
Why do the cruel barbs fly?
Now when disgrace can no longer hurt me

Because I’m falling down
With people standing round
But before I hit the ground
Is there time
Could I find someone out there to help me?

Because I’m falling down
With people standing round
But before I hit the ground
Is there time
Could I find someone out there to help me?
I don’t know…. Why…

The handshake
Seals the contract
From the contract
Theres no turning back
The turning point
Of a career
In korea, being insincere
The holiday
Was fun packed
The contract
Still intact

The grabbing hands
Grab all they can
All for themselves
After all

It's a competitive world
Everything counts in large amounts

The graph
On the wall
Tells the story
Of it all
Picture it now
See just how
The lies and deceit
Gained a little more power
Confidence
Taken in
By a sun tan
And a grin

The grabbing hands
Grab all they can
All for themselves
After all

It's a competitive world
Everything counts in large amounts

The grabbing hands
Grab all they can
Everything counts in large amounts

Englishman in New York. By Sting.

Post by susan » Sun Oct 12, 2008 11:07 pm

Here are the lyrics for "Englishman in New York,' by Sting.
I've copied the lyrics from the video, which I have posted over in Knightmare's Music Room.
The words have a lot of meaning to them. Hope you like it.

Englishman in New York.

I don't take coffee, I take tea my dear,
I like my toast done on one side,
And you can hear it in my accent when I talk
I'm an Englishman in New York.

See me walking down Fifth Avenue
A walking cane here at my side
I take it everywhere I walk,
I'm an Englishman in New York.

CHORUS
Whoaaa, I'm an alien, I'm a legal alien
I'm an Englishman in New York,
Whoaaa, I'm an alien, I'm a legal alien
I'm an Englishman in New York.

If 'Manners maketh man,' as someone said
He's the hero of the day.
It takes a man to suffer ignorance and smile,
Be yourself no matter what they say.

CHORUS
Whoaa, I'm an alien, I'm a legal alien etc...

Modesty, propriety can lead to notoriety
You could end up as the only one.
Gentlenesss, sobriety, are rare in this society,
At night a candle's brighter than the sun.

It takes more than combat gear to make a man,
It takes more than a licence for a gun,
Confront your enemies, avoid them when you can
A gentleman will walk but never run.

If 'Manners maketh man,' as someone said,
He's the hero of the day.
It takes a man to suffer ignorance and smile
Be yourself, no matter what they say.

CHORUS.
Whoaa, I'm an alien, I'm a legal alien....

Hey, is there any way to get around the 5MB upload limit for MP3's (most of mine are above this size)!!! Say 8MB or 10MB per file???

Craig.
You could re-encode them to a lower rate. Any song that large must be encoded a 256kbps or be a really long song, or both.
Never settle for less than 320.

Death Angel - Bored

Guilty of no crime
Not enough yet too much time
I'm burning in this hell
Plans to buy and dreams to sell

Sitting by myself
Living life and loving life
But something bothers me
What to do - I can't believe

I'm bored
Life it's not so fair
Nothing here and nothing there
I'm waiting constantly
It's not the way life's meant to be

Boredom starts to set
I try so hard but it's all I get
Keep waiting all the time
I think I've reached
The end of the line

I'm bored
