Hi Michael,

Unfortunately I'm working straight through the next two weeks and will have no time to frollic. I would love to fly with you though when I free up some time in the near future. What is your favorite ship. Mine is the DC3, it's a honey and I can spend hours in one just flying around even though she's a low and slow airplane. lol

Dude, i was really into this. I used to play it at work with my Boss (excellent way to use up overtime) and colleagues!

Did you play Total Annihilation??? In many ways, i thought this was BETTER than C&C and there is a sequel to be released soonish!

I also got into Earth 2160, which is along similar lines... have you checked it out??

Have never tried those others Enigma. But going to have to know. LOL.

I used to play all the time. Loved teaming up and kicking butt. Haven't much latley. Most people I played with on-line have left it.

They have a new one C&C 3:Tiberium Wars. Looks pretty good from description. But I have seen that before and then come out bad. But it is supposed to bring back parts of original game play. Wish I could find that link again. Talked about actors and directors working on the games cut-scenes. Had several pretty well know people. Will have to give it a look see.

I just finally played Generals for the first time a few months ago. Bouhgt the stupid things over a year ago but my old puter was to slow for it. It just stared and stared at me. Gonna have to try those others. Those are about the only type I play on puter. Mostly use PS2 for gaming.

If anybody wants to play any C&C let me know. I have all of them so. Other than Renagade.

StarCraft and BroodWar!

Post by TimeLord04 » Sun Dec 10, 2006 5:29 pm

These games are CLASSIC!!! (For me, they go back to Mid to Late 1998; that's when I was introduced to StarCraft. Later, I got hooked on the release of BroodWar!) I have kept my LAN Installations updated; currently on 1.14...

The other day I went to Blizzard.com from my browser, (rather than the "Update Program" within BroodWar), and found that the main Website has a "zip" Folder with 21 New Maps for BroodWar! I didn't even know anyone was making New Maps separate from the Program Updater... So, I wanted to post here in order to let everyone know about these New Maps.

:smt003 :smt026 :smt005 :smt023 :smt038

"The Enemies are in Legion, and still you procrastinate! Command, or you will be relieved! This is NOT an idle threat!", Protoss Carrier.

"You call down the Thunder, and I'll reap the whirlwind!", Terran Ghost.

"Identify target! I'm about to drop the hammer, and dispense some indiscriminate justice!", Terran Siege Tank.

Long live StarCraft and BroodWar!!! :smt038 :smt026 :smt023 :smt004

That will make, what, 30 days without a break?

That would be kool. I plan on picking it up once it comes out. I think it was March. Need to find the date again. But I will be itching to play when it does come out.

Looked up those other 2 games. They look pretty good. Going to find them this week and give them a try.

I have Generals for anybody wanting to play.

Mike, i'm sure its really excellent.

But i must admit i'm a little....well..... scared....

I think i would become addicted to one of these things and require a life support system at home (to handle fluids in and out etc).....

I have avoided all massively multiplayer games for this reason.

Heroes 5

Post by BrainSmashR » Mon Dec 18, 2006 12:28 pm

Had a few bucks left over after my Christmas shopping, so I went down to Wally World and bought Heroes of Might and Magic 5.

Anyone playing that?

Don't really need any pointers yet...I'm only on like the 3rd stage of the first campaign.

Well lets see. Gotta calculate. ?/? Time, Warp, Moon Phase. LOL

Your 7pm Tuesday Is my 5am Tues. Don't know what kind of schedule you have. Don't want it to be to late for ya. but 10 pm your time would give me an 8am here. That wouldn't be to bad. Next serevral days (until and a bit after x-mas) will be free at almost anytime. Wifes on vacation, kids out of school, All work orders for me have all been done. Should be a nice little break. LOL

So let me know a good time.
